今天的英語課,照例,我們先上課本、檢查作業,並討論有關的文法,全英語的。

第15單元是個半複習的單元,所以裡面會有遊戲可以玩,當然必須陪他玩。

我們按照書本的指示擲銅板走格子,回答問題。

往常我玩遊戲都是輸的分,因為我無論如何擲骰子或是走格子,都會輸。

但今天可是Kevin輸了,因為他不巧走到倒退格,哈哈!

 

我也讓他在課堂上寫一點作業,平常他真的沒時間寫太多,而我的作業卻愈出愈多,因為發現他聽、講、讀的水準可以,但寫還是不太靈光,尤其是記單字,只好多出點功課,讓他寫字。

 

接著,Kevin趁我在檢查作業的時候,去包包拿他的畫本出來。

向來,Kevin是只要有人聽他講他的畫,就算要講英文也在所不惜! XD

也不知從什麼時候開始,他每週都會記得要跟英文老師(我)分享他的圖畫,今天也不例外。

 

然後我就莫名的,聽了一遍他寫的故事。

我發現挺有趣的,乾脆幫他把一些相關的字眼查一查,讓他再講一次,錄成下面兩個檔案。

原則上Kevin已經有過去式的概念,但他還沒有真正記過動詞三態,而且他是一邊指著他的圖一邊講,所以他幾乎全用現在式。

我在畫面下方,加上稍加整理過的故事內容,有興趣的朋友可以讀看看,孩子心裡的世界。

這就是「C鋼彈」的故事


 

 

Today, Kevin will tell us a story about his book, C-Gundam. O.K. Let’s begin.

The first page is why the C-Gundam is on this world. This is the Universe Colony. And do you know this? This is the bad guys’ ship. And the most important ship uses the canon to shoot the Universe Colony. And the good guys’ robots are broken. And in the Colony, the people are very scared. The Colony has some battle ships but they are very small so no big use. And there is some energy in these supply devices. But the bad guys use the laser gun to shoot the supply devices. So the supply devices go BOM. They exploded. All the Universe Colony is broken.

And this is a satellite. The satellite knows that the Colony is damaged. He uses the radio to talk to the other Universe Colony: There are some bad guys. They will come…

 

 

 

There is a man in the (other) Universe Colony. And the man is checking his Email. The mail was written by the one the Universe Colony was damaged. “There are some bad guys. They will come. Watch out!” “What!” And the siren’s on. Un….un….un….

And the ships were shot one by one. This good guys’ ship hit the bad guys’ and the other bad guys’ will hit the good guys’.

And in the Colony, one man goes into a little house. And is this his house? No. There is a big door in the house. Open the big door is this. This is the Universe Battle Ship. In this area, they are making the battle ships. The battle ship almost can go to fight. And they go. But one man says, “Wait a minute, we don’t let the mobile suits on yet.” They have to load on the mobile suits. The captain says, “Stop!” And the mobile suits are one by one onto the battle ship. “Come! Come! O.K.! Stop!”

This is the Gundam. This Gundam has a lot of weapons. This is the shot gun, and this is the laser rifle, and this is the rocket launcher and this is the laser small sun and this is the laser source. And this is another ship. And all the good guys’ ships are on the way. (to be continued.....)

 

錄完這個故事,我便打主意,讓他把這個故事寫下來,作為今天的創意寫作。

Kevin對這個想法非常有興趣,他說,他想把文字寫在圖畫下面。

於是我找出一本,像小時候提早寫作的本子一樣,上面是一個方框可以畫圖,下面則是寫英文的四行線。

找出來後我問他,他是要重新畫圖嗎?還是要把畫本上的剪貼過來?

他想一想覺得懶得重新畫,也捨不得剪,便改主意直接寫下來就好,所以我拿出沒有畫圖位置的本子給他寫。

 

奇妙的事情發生了,就在他坐下來、拿出筆、寫上了字之後,我發現他寫的完全不是剛剛的那個故事。

他起了個標題,叫做「How to Make a Gundam」,還知道標題單字字首要大寫,所以把小寫擦掉改大寫。最後還認為,全都大寫比較酷,就全擦掉改成大寫(平常要擦他一個字可難了呢!)。

然後就開始寫下文章的內容。

 

他寫作的過程中,文章的內容和主體,都是他用英文講給我聽的。

遇到他不會的字眼,用中文問我,我也不會的話,就用google 線上翻譯字典查。

有時一個句子完成了,我問他下面要寫什麼,他講了之後,我會根據他要寫的內容,建議他需不需要換段。

當然,也必須幫助他文法的細節。

寫完後,他自己非常滿意。

我讓他朗讀時,發現某些字眼他很生疏,因為是今天才剛剛學到英文的(雖然中文版我們早聽過不知幾百遍了)

最後錄起來的版本,還是有幾個字不太通順,不過,這可真是他的本意喔!

他自己有興趣的內容,相信很快這些字他都會記起來了!

 

      HOW TO MAKE A GUNDAM

    Do you know how to make a Gundam? This article will teach you how.

    When you make a Gundam, you need to have:

1. Iron material: to build the framework and outer covering;

2. Wires: to transmit the orders;

3. electronic devices: to make the control panels in the cabin;

4. cameras: let the pilot to see the road;

5. radar: to detect the enemy;

6. pushing rocket: let the Gundam fly;

7. weapons: shot gun, rifle, rocket launcher, pistol, machine gun and missiles.

    Now you need to build the parts of the Gundam, like: hands, arms, legs, bodies and head. And put them together.

    Remember what materials do you need. And buy them correctly. Good luck! 

 

文法上仍有不夠周全的地方,但他的意義表達很清楚,雖然內容很幻想風,但這可是篇扎扎實實的工作手冊呢!XDDDD
